FREE AMPLIFIED PHONES AVAILABLE!
The West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging has recently partnered with the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation to bring FREE amplified phones to our area! NO CATCH!!
REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE PHONE:
- You must be a legal resident of Illinois
- You must have standard phone service in your residence
- You must be certified by a Physician or an Audiologist as hearing impaired.
If you or a loved one meets all 3 of the above mentioned requirements you are well on your way to owning a FREE amplified phone!
Steps to Receiving your FREE Phone:
1. Call our offices at 217-223-5700 or 800-252-9027
to request that we mail you an application.
2. Once your application is completed, mail it to:

3. Once the application is approved, I.T.A.C. (Illinois
Telecommunications Access Corporation) will mail a Phone Voucher to your residence.
4. Next, call us at 217-223-5700 or toll-free at 800-252-9027
to make an appointment for Phone Selection at the Quincy
Senior & Family Resource Center,639 York Street in
Quincy.
5. Bring the Phone Voucher with you to your appointment.
One of our trained staff members will assist you in testing
the equipment.

Once you have selected the phone that best fits your needs, our staff member will fax that Phone Voucher to I.T.A.C
- After the Voucher is faxed you can expect your new FREE Phone to arrive at your residence within 2 weeks!
- Once you receive your FREE Amplified Phone it is yours to keep.
- Our Goal is to issue you the Phone that best suits your needs.
**For individuals that are homebound, the phones can be brought to your residence for testing.
